Sample Collection Kit

Accu-Chem Laboratories® will provide a "collection kit" containing all supplies necessary for sample collection at no charge to the physician. Each collection kit is in a crush-proof box for storage and transportation.

Requisition/Chain of Custody

Accu-Chem Laboratories® provides a test requisition form that can also be used as a chain of custody form.

Testing Methodology

Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry Technology, Gas Chromatography With Nitrogen Phosphorus Detector (NPD) Technology and High Resolution Gas Chromatography/Electron Capture (GC/ECD) Technology.

Accu-Chem Laboratories® offers state-of-the-art-testing technology to ensure superior analytical results for testing pesticides, herbicides, PCB's, solvents, etc.

Turnaround Time

Depending on the type of analysis to be performed, results are usually available within 1 - 2 weeks after Accu-Chem has received the sample. We are able to STAT any test for a modest fee.

Confidential Reporting

Results are communicated via Fax when testing is completed. Hard copies of the test results are mailed the same day.

Customer Service

A customer service representative familiar with your account is available to field any inquiries, and assist in the maintenance of the toxicology testing program, from details of collection and transport, to transmitting results.

Expert Consultation

On staff toxicologists are available to speak directly with physicians concerning testing and the interpretation of data.

Expert Testimony

Our professional staff includes scientists at the doctoral level, encompassing the fields of clinical chemistry, analytical chemistry, and forensic toxicology, with successful courtroom experience in criminal and civil court, federal hearings, and criminal administrative hearings.

Records

All chain-of-custody, analytical records and all other documentation will be retained for a period of two years. All records will be stored longer upon request.
